Placement and Taping of Natural Ears
YOUR PUPPY'S EARS MAY LOOK CUTE TO YOU NOW WHEN THEY ARE POPPING OR FLY-AWAY BUT AS YOUR BOXER GETS OLDER IT MAY TEND TO MAKE HIM OR HER LOOK A BIT GOOFY.
HERE IS A WEBSITE INSTRUCTING HOW TO TAPE THE NATURAL EAR WHEN IT STARTS TO POP OR FLY-AWAY, THIS USUALLY HAPPENS WHEN YOUR PUPPY IS STARTING TO LOSE HIS/HER BABY TEETH.
AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE IS A PLACE TO CLICK ON THAT GIVES YOU INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO MASSAGE THE NATURAL EAR.
BABY GIRL HAS BEAUTIFUL NATURAL EARS.
MY FEMALE HEVEA HAS FLY-A-WAY EARS
WHEN HEVEA WAS A PUP I WAS NOT AWARE OF TAPING HER EARS, SHE HAD BEAUTIFUL NATURAL EARS AS A PUPPY BEFORE TEETHING (BELOW).
When the natural ear begins to pop-up or "rosebud" it is sometimes
necessary to train them into the proper position by taping them. It can
take some patience and time to do it properly and many people find it difficult to do.
VIEW THE VIDEO BELOW FOR INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO TAPE THE NATURAL BOXER EAR. I DO NOT USE THE ZIPPO.
FOR JUST GLUING THE EARS WITHOUT TAPING, I USE TEAR MENDER ADHESIVE, IT IS NON-TOXIC AND WORKS VERY WELL. BELOW IS A
PHOTO OF ONE OF CODMAN HILL SHADY'S EARS GLUED.
